This Everyday Yellow Rice is a simple yet flavorful dish that pairs perfectly with a variety of dishes. As Lia calls it "I like the rice with yellow parts"

Ingredients
2 cups Basmati rice
1 pod cardamom
A small piece of pandan leaf (Optional)
2 tablespoons Better Than Bouillon Premium Roasted Chicken Base (diluted in water as per rice cooker instructions)
A pinch of turmeric
1 tablespoon ghee
Preparation
Rinse the Rice: Wash the Basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
Prepare the Cooking Liquid: If using Better Than Bouillon, dissolve 2 tablespoons in the required amount of water (as per your rice cooker’s instructions).
Assemble Ingredients: Add the rinsed rice to the rice cooker. Pour in the prepared broth or water.
Flavoring the Rice: Add the cardamom pod, pandan leaf (if using), turmeric, and ghee. Stir gently to distribute the ingredients.
Cook the Rice: Close the lid and cook according to your rice cooker’s settings.
Fluff and Serve: Once cooked, let the rice sit for 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork before serving.
